Rest of Mythical Creatures OOAK Work in process pictures and finished art

For my fire dragon and moss creature, I ended up trying Fimo Wood effect air dry clay. I wanted to test out as many readily available and cheap air dry clays I could fine. This one was about $6 from Michaels but I can't recall if that was the coupon price or list price. Besides the Wood effect. I remember seeing a grey granite effect one too, but I went for the wood because the clay felt fresher in the package. The grey was more stiff and probably older stock.

Here are the two creatures I made out of the Fimo Wood effects air dry clay. Besides these two sculptures, I had enough left to do two smaller cat magnets.  As I'm not sure how two different company clays will behave with one another, I did not want to chance doing something half done. so I didn't try for a third larger sculpture. As you can see, the clay is just brown. I thought it had some actual wood grain effect going on when I bought it but that was not the case at all.

Here is what my work bench looks like when I am painting. It's a little bit messy but it works for me. You can see a few of the sculptures being painting at the same time. I don't have other WIP pictures for The fox and the purple creature.  My computer desk is actually doubling as my art desk right now. Kids take up a lot of space ^_^;
Here is a clearer shot of the moss creature with first coating of paint. I actually primed them with Liquitex acrylic gesso first and then painted with Vallejo paints. You can see that the fire dragon is primed white in the picture above. Completed pictures below for all these sculptures.

First is my Moss creature. I really love how this one turned out. It looks like it belongs in a forest somewhere. You can find this OOAK creature in sale in my Etsy shop here.

Here is a side view of the fire dragon. More views in the listing on my Etsy Shop here.  This one is also an OOAK. The body is similar to the frost dragon i just posted, face is different. And of course the painting.
This is a sitting up fox creature that I did. This was was mostly done in Premier clay with some fixit sculpt. Fixit sculpt will stick to pretty much anything so I knew I wouldn't have a compatibility issue. At the time I had ran out of Premier clay. I have since bought several more packages of it so I should not run out mid sculpture again. You can find my Etsy listing here
Looking at my etsy shop I realized that I never listed this one for sale! I think I was having a hard time to deciding what to call this thing. So here is this purple creature painted and finished. I will at some point go a create a listing for this little guy.
Not pictured in the WIP for this page, but in a previous post I used a WIP shot of this forest dragon. I used Fimo clay on this one but not the wood type, just plain white. I actually had bought the white and the rose colored air dry Fimo many years ago and just never used them. The rose had dried out rock hard, but to my Suprise the white was still very much workable! Here is the Etsy shop listing for this one.
