Oranda Gold Fish sculpture using La Doll Premier Clay with Finished Pictures

 

I did not take too many in process sculpting images, so it's basically painted and unpainted pictures in this post. I used La Doll premier clay to make these Oranda Goldfish. 

I sculpted a few at a time. I tried to do them all a little bit different. 

I had some hearty clay also and sculpted some orandas with that. I made the wren bigger with premier clay. Between the two, hearty clay was too fluffy and felt that sculpting a cloud. Premier was better for me to bulk out shapes and add details. It smooths with water and cured rock hard. it dries very light weight thought. I would prefer the finish pieces to have a little bit more heft to them.
