Temu Find Mushroom Flat silicone mold turned into Christmas ornament WIP tutorial

My last post and then I am up to date with all my painting and sculpting projects. 

Here I am using a mushroom house mold that I found on temu. The left is made from casting plaster and the right is made from Priemer stone clay. 

I used Liquitex Gesso for primer, hand brushed

here is how the gesso looks dried. when I was doing the Christmas ornaments I posted before, I did not use primer and just skipped to the painting step. 

I started with a tan color then added more brown, white and blue. 

The castings have nice details so I am going to do washes and dry brushing. 

I did not take too long to paint these and I did not all at once. 

I wanted to try to make it look like snow on top of the mushroom building 

I tried to paint them a little differently
